Grades of grey iron Manhole covers,
Inspection covers and Gully gratings and frames.
(a) Grade A: Manhole covers and
Gully covers gratings, capable of bearing wheel loads up to 11.50 tonnes
for use in Carriageways.
(b) Grade B: Manhole covers and
Gully gratings, capable of bearing wheel loads up to 5.00 tonnes for use
in Carriageways carrying relatively slow-moving normal commercial vehicles.
(c) Grade C: Sealed Inspection covers
and frames for use in situations inaccessible to motor vehicles. |

Kerb-type gully covers and frames
are for use in kerbs of carriageways. Weir depth (distance from top of
cover to top of fixed weir, if any) shall be either 115mm or 165mm at customer's
selection. |

If requested, customers will be
furnished with a certificate covering each delivery, stating that the designs
covered in the supply comply with the loading applicable on random tests
carried out. |

by clear opening in the frames & all dimensions are approximate. |

Weights mentioned in the Catalogue
are just approximate for guidance of the customers. |

and size will interchangeable with their respective frames. |
